Fall has begun, and with the new season comes a new schedule of events for both business and pleasure. This fall in New York City there is an array of conferences, conventions, festivals, and fairs that will attract travelers from all over. Below are some of the fall events in NYC coming up in the near future.
New Yorker FestivalDates: Oct. 4-6

The New Yorker will host its 13th annual New Yorker Festival, featuring a mixture of live interviews between journalists and guests, film and television screenings, musical performances, panels, and keynote speakers. This mass gathering of media is hosted at various venues across New York and attendees will have to option to purchase tickets for individual events throughout the weekend. Forbes Healthcare SummitDate: Oct. 9-10
Venue: The Allen Room at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall.
A two-day event hosted by Steve Forbes, the Healthcare Summit will bring together some of the most influential leaders in the healthcare industry. The first day features an opening showcase and reception. The second day of the Summit is full of keynote speakers covering topics most relevant to the changes currently facing the healthcare industry.
New York Business ExpoDate: Oct. 17
Venue: Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
Executives and owners of small and medium-sized business will gather in NYC for the largest business trade show in the Northeast. The conference features guest speakers, seminars, networking events, and a show floor of over 200 exhibits. Over 10,000 executives attend the New York Business Expo because of the valuable educational opportunities and to open up many new doors through networking.
Highland HudsonFestDates: Oct. 11-14
Venue: Hudson Valley Rail Trail
The Highland HudsonFest is a weekend of fun, celebration, and community held annually in the Hudson Valley. Attendees can enjoy live music, local food and drink, art, and an “Evening Under the Stars”. New Yorkers participate in this festival to celebrate the Hudson Valley community and arts.
Taste of the Hudson ValleyDate: Nov. 3
Venue: The Grandview
The Taste of the Hudson Valley is a single-day event to benefit Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers, and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. This event is known across the Northeast for their wine and food pairings. The Taste brings in wines from vineyards and winemakers known around the world. The food is provided by some of the most acclaimed restaurants in New York. Along with the food and wine pairing, attendees will be able to take in live musical performances to make for a relaxing Sunday.
